Algorithms

A cryptographic algorithm is an algorithm that implements the calculation of one cryptographic functions, i.e. functions needed to implement a cryptographic system. These functions include: the generation of keys, generation of pseudo-random sequences, encryption, calculation and validation of values of a message authentication code and a digital signature, calculation of a hash function, etc.
